Job Description:
This role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and optimizing production machinery to ensure smooth and safe plant operations. It requires strong mechanical aptitude, hands‑on problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Requirements
Mechanical & Technical Skills
- Mechanical aptitude with strong hands‑on problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to perform basic fabrication and welding tasks when needed.
Work Ethic & Reliability
- Self‑motivated and dependable with strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to pass pre‑employment screenings.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the workday.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on maintenance environment.
Teamwork & Communication
- Strong verbal communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
- Willingness to collaborate with supervisors, managers, and production staff.
Responsibilities
1. Equipment Troubleshooting & Repair
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery to maintain smooth production flow.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform corrective actions promptly.
2. Preventive Maintenance
- Grease and maintain machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Replace bearings and other mechanical components as needed.
3. Fabrication & Welding
- Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks to support equipment upkeep and repairs.
4. Operational Support
- Assist with additional tasks that support plant operations and team needs.
- Work closely with supervisors and teammates to maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
