Requirements of position



 Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Operation: Safely and effectively operate the front-end loader to move materials. 
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport materials to designated locations, ensuring proper placement and weight distribution. 
  • Maintenance & Inspections: Conduct routine checks on the loader, perform minor maintenance tasks like lubrication, and report any issues. 
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating the loader. 
  • Communication: Coordinate with other team members or supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and task completion. 
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of material movement and equipment usage. 
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve minor equipment malfunctions or operational issues. 
Qualifications:
  • Experience:
Typically requires experience operating front-end loaders, with some roles requiring specific experience in certain industries like construction or road/dirt work. 
  • Physical Ability:
Must be able to lift heavy objects (often 50+ pounds), work in various weather conditions, and withstand long hours. 
  • Technical Skills:
Familiarity with hand signals, grade stakes, and other site markings for proper material placement. 
  • Safety Awareness:
Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures for heavy equipment operation. 
  • Communication and Teamwork:
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, and work collaboratively.
