 Machine Operator Assistant 

Position Location

 South Bend, IN 

 

Pay/hours for position

Starting at $19/hr – 8 to 10 hr shifts, Monday - Friday

Requirements of position

 We are looking for a dependable Machine Operator Assistant to join our South Bend facility. In this role, you’ll support our machine operators by ensuring equipment runs smoothly and production goals are met. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work on your feet throughout the shift.

·  Clean background check required

·  Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operation role is necessary

·  Must be confident with computer use and basic data entry

·  Ability to stand for the full duration of the shift

·  Willingness to work overtime as needed

·  Strong communication skills and attention to detail

·  Ability to follow instructions accurately

·  Dependable with good attendance

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities of position

 ·  Assist with machine setup, operation, and basic maintenance

·  Monitor machines for proper function and report any problems promptly

·  Handle materials loading and unloading efficiently

·  Keep work areas clean and organized

·  Follow all safety and quality procedures

·  Collaborate with the team to maintain production flow

·  Be flexible to work overtime when necessary
