|
- Associate degree in Science or equivalent job experience
- 1 - 3 years experience in a laboratory
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
- Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge in GMPs and Safety practices
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
- Complies with all cGLP/GMP and safety requirements, laboratory SOP’s and Company policies. Comply with safety practices; washes glassware and ensures cleanliness of testing equipment.
- Responsible for laboratory housekeeping and changing waste containers and gas cylinders.
- Disposes waste according to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations.
- Performs basic laboratory tests in accordance with SOPs while maintaining appropriate documentation.
- Performs sampling in accordance with SOPs and current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMPs)
- Prepares and maintains volumetric tests and solutions.
- Maintains appropriate documentation (records and lab notebooks) as required by SOP’s and cGLP’ s.
- Assist the Chemist and Microbiologist in their duties when requested.
- Transport samples and documentation to and from the physical laboratory.
- Maintains the chemical, microbiological and physical laboratories supplied with everyday use supplies.
- Environmental monitoring of controlled production areas. (support to Laboratory Technician II Physical)
Performs related duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor.
