 Requirements:  
 Qualifications  
  - High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  
 - 1+ year of janitorial, housekeeping, or sanitation experience in a food manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or industrial facility preferred.
  
 - Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation procedures, and safety data sheets (SDS).
  
 - Understanding of GMP and food safety standards preferred.
  
 - Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.
  
 - Strong attention to detail and reliability.
  
 - Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  
 - Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

 Position Summary  
 The Janitorial / Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of all production, warehouse, and office area. This role ensures a safe and sanitary work environment that complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), FDA, and food safety standards.  
 
   
 Key Responsibilities  
  - Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of facility areas, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and production support areas.
  
 - Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, doors, and equipment surfaces in non-production and support areas.
  
 - Collect and properly dispose of trash, recyclables, and waste from designated areas.
  
 - Refill supplies such as paper towels, soap, toilet tissue, and sanitizers as needed.
  
 - Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly to maintain hygiene standards.
  
 - Operate cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, vacuums, mops, and buffers) safely and efficiently.
  
 - Follow all GMPs, safety procedures, and sanitation protocols required in a food manufacturing environment.
  
 - Assist the Sanitation and Production teams with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed.
  
 - Report any maintenance issues, spills, or safety hazards to the Facilities Supervisor.
  
 - Maintain cleaning supply inventory and notify supervisor when replenishment is required.
  
 - Ensure that all cleaning activities are documented properly and performed according to schedule.
