Quality Control Inspector – Aviation (FAA / Aircraft Parts / QMS) We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector (QC Inspector) with aviation experience to ensure aircraft parts, materials, and documentation meet strict FAA, regulatory, and Quality Management System (QMS) standards. If you have experience inspecting aircraft parts, aviation documentation, certifications, traceability records, and inventory control, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in the aviation industry. Position Summary – Aviation Quality Inspector/Inventory The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing incoming inspection, in-process inspection, and final outgoing inspection of aircraft parts and components. This role ensures full compliance with: FAA regulations AS9100 / QMS requirements Customer specifications Export compliance standards Inventory of all parts Safety and hazardous material regulations You will play a critical role in maintaining aviation quality standards, inventory accuracy, and documentation traceability. Key Responsibilities Aircraft Parts Inspection/Inventory Perform receiving, in-process, and outgoing inspections of aircraft parts and aviation components Verify part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, traceability, certifications (8130, C of C), and packing lists Inspect condition of parts for damage, corrosion, wear, and compliance Capture and maintain imaging documentation of part condition Documentation & Compliance Review aviation documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance Identify, document, and communicate non-conformances and discrepancies Complete inspection checklists and enter accurate data into the Pentagon inventory system Ensure full compliance with Owl Aerospace’s Quality Management System (QMS) Inventory & Warehouse Support Process stock checks, pick tickets, RMAs, and lot purchases Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits Organize and store aircraft inventory in designated warehouse locations Maintain inventory control accuracy Shipping & Logistics Prepare, package, and ship aircraft parts to prevent environmental or transit damage Process shipments using FedEx, UPS, and DHL systems Coordinate with vendors and carriers to meet shipping deadlines Build pallets and handle Hazmat and Dangerous Goods (Level II–III) when required Support Export Compliance procedures Required Qualifications – Level I Education High school diploma or equivalent Experience Minimum 1 year aviation industry experience inspecting aircraft parts 2+ years of warehouse, stockroom, or shipping/receiving experience Experience reviewing aviation certifications and documentation preferred
