Requirements of position
|
|
|
|
|
- Proficiency in Magaya software for inventory management, tracking, and reporting.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and best practices.
- Ability to read and understand shipping documents and invoices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills and experience with data entry.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Forklift certification (preferred but not required)
- Bilingual (English & Spanish preferred) to facilitate communications.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or warehouse operations, preferably handling bonded freight.
- Knowledge of customs regulations and bonded warehouse procedures.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (WMS, ERP) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities of position
|
|
|
|
|
|
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Use Magaya software to log shipments, update inventory records, and generate reports.
- Verify shipping documents, invoices, and purchase orders to ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate with drivers, office staff, and warehouse staff to facilitate smooth receiving operations.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments of bonded freight, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
- Organize and label received items for proper storage and easy retrieval.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and report discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and bonded warehouse regulations.
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely inventory reporting.
- Monitor and reconcile inventory discrepancies through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Utilize inventory management systems (WMS/ERP) to track stock levels and generate reports.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and shortages in collaboration with warehouse teams.
- Create pick order for outbound.
