Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced Instrumentation Technician to troubleshoot, repair, install, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and control systems in a manufacturing environment. This is a Direct Hire, 1st shift position (7am–3pm) in a union facility.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and control systems
- Calibrate sensors, valves, transmitters, and related equipment
- Diagnose and repair PLCs and control circuits
- Perform loop checks and assist with equipment startups
- Use testing equipment to identify and fix issues
- Maintain maintenance records in the CMMS system
- Update technical drawings and documentation
- Work with other departments to complete repairs
- Follow all safety and operational procedures
Qualifications:
- Instrumentation certification, apprenticeship, or ability to obtain certification
- Experience with industrial instrumentation and calibration
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
- CMMS experience preferred
Preferred:
- 5+ years of industrial instrumentation experience
- Knowledge of industrial safety and Lockout/Tagout procedures
