Requirements of position




Education:  Bachelor's / Associates Degree – preferable.
Experience:  3 + years of related experience. 
Direct Sales Experience in Shipping, Trucking, Logistics Management 
Languages:  Strong verbal and written skills; English fluent, Spanish preferred.
Skills/Software: Proficient with Excel, Word, experience with Shipping systems. 
Solid experience in lead qualifications, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management.

Responsibilities of position





Customer Interaction:
  • Provide accounts with quotations for FCL & LCL export cargo as requested by the account.
  • Follow through on rates provided to clients and/or by the Quotes team within 24 hours.
  • Ensure contracts are up to date on a weekly basis; Reminder can be set in Salesforce CRM under tasks.
  • Prepare One Time Fillings (OTFs) export cargo not under contract and or tariff.
  • Email account base weekly Southbound sailing schedule.
  • Schedule appointments for the Account Executive if needed.
  • Maintain communication via phone and or email with destination sales representative and agents.
  • Telesales – assigned accounts and new accounts.  Follow up on sales leads / routings.
Support:
  • Participate in weekly and or biweekly sales calls with each sales executive and agent.
  • Usage of Salesforce CRM to maintain account records.
  • Email Trade Notifications to accounts and agents in a timely manner.
  • Review Loading Guide daily to ensure OTFs and contracts are updated.
  • Answer emails in a timely and professional manner (preferably within 4 hours, no later than 24 hours).
  • Provide weekly volume reports for the destination’s agents with the direct Account Executive highlighting lost business trend analysis.
  • Complete a weekly Sales Report in Salesforce with completed tasks/objectives (due Friday before COB).
  • Manage and maintain assigned USA accounts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned as needed in Sales.  Assigned goals will be weighted/evaluated twice per year.
  • Telemarketing minimum 25 Calls per week.
  • Complete support with the Sales Account Executive
Analysis and Reporting:
  • Run JOC stats on assigned destinations monthly and share with destination teams and to be reviewed with the Sales Account Executive.
  • Assist USA Rep/Destination Rep with stats/trend analysis for assigned territories to ensure maximum support on vessels.
  • Loading Guide are to be sent to each destination Monday Morning to the current sailing.
 
Salary is $55K-$63K
