- Heavy Lifting – 50lbs
- Experience operating multiple types of inserting equipment, especially BlueCrest and Pitney Bowes systems
- Familiarity with MCS Perfect Match or other camera match/verification systems
- Solid understanding of direct mail production, USPS mailing standards, and quality control procedures
- Mechanically inclined with good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Proficient with machine interfaces and comfortable working with computer-controlled systems
- Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an inserter operator in a production or mailing facility
- Ability to read and follow detailed production instructions and job tickets
- Able to work in a deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting , and working in a production setting

| Position Overview:
The Inserter Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining high-speed mail inserting equipment in a production environment. This includes operating a range of machines such as the BlueCrest Mailstream Productivity Series (MPS), BlueCrest Pulse, Pitney Bowes FlowMaster, and Mailcrafter inserters. The operator ensures that jobs are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with client requirements and postal regulations. Some equipment may also include integrated systems such as MCS Perfect Match for match verification and piece-level tracking.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate various inserters including, but not limited to, the BlueCrest MPS, BlueCrest Pulse, FlowMaster, and Mailcrafter
- Perform job changeovers efficiently while ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance
- Load materials, adjust machine settings, and calibrate systems to match job specifications
- Monitor quality throughout production runs and perform regular checks for accuracy, completeness, and presentation
- Operate and maintain the MCS Perfect Match system when used for match mailing or verification work
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance or technical staff when necessary
- Complete production logs, downtime reports, and other required documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with company safety standards
