| JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Position requires extended periods of time sitting and standing
- Knowledgeable regarding industrial sewing machines
- Required to clean and oil the machine
- Must be open and willing to work overtime as needed
- Use of PPE is required (Safety glasses and cut resistant gloves)
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures posted within the warehouse
ABILITIES
- Must have great communication skills
- Warehouse is not climate controlled, so applicants must be able to tolerate warm temperatures
- Available to work 1st shift (5am-3:30pm)
- Applicants must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and lift
- Be able to work well in a team setting
- Detail oriented, organized, and possess a high standard of cleanliness
- Ability to meet safety standards
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED is preferred
- Must possess a minimum of 1 year of prior experience with industrial sewing or commercial sewing
- Applicants will be required to complete a sewing test during their interview
- Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply, but it is not required

Responsibilities of position
|
|
|
|
|
|
| DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Inspect material for any defects
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures as well as any other governing entities. (Including but not limited to always wearing appropriate PPE when on the production floor.)
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs, anything above 50lbs is a team lift
- Print Production tickets and Work instructions before starting the run
- Verify all required parts are present per work instructions
- Sew all locations as specified by work instructions
- Ensure rubber side is facing upwards when sewing the parts
- Verify the location of stitching and accessories
- Add all accessories as specified by work instructions
- Follow any additional steps detailed in work instructions
- Ensure PSI is at or below 30 when cleaning machine
- Clean and oil the machine
- Ensure all parts are orientated correctly
- Pack order accordingly and move to shipping department
