| The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

| Responsibilities of position

| · Equipment Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production machinery, mechanical systems, electrical components, and facility equipment.
· Troubleshooting & Repair: Repair sewing machines. Diagnose and repair equipment failures involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
· Production Support: Respond quickly to machine breakdowns to reduce downtime and support production goals.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and repair logs in the maintenance management system.
· Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work follows safety procedures, lockout/tagout practices, and OSHA standards.
· Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
· Parts & Inventory: Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory and communicate needs for replacement components.
· Collaboration: Work closely with production teams, engineers, and supervisors to support equipment upgrades and process changes.
