Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting human capital management initiatives, employee relations, and talent acquisition efforts. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to strategic HR functions, including workforce management, benefits administration, and compliance with employment and labor laws. The Human Resources Coordinator will be instrumental in fostering a positive work environment through effective communication, employee development, and project management.
Duties
- Manage talent acquisition processes including HR sourcing, ATS utilization, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Oversee employee orientation programs and facilitate training & development initiatives to enhance workforce skills.
- Administer employee evaluation processes, performance management systems, and succession planning strategies.
- Support benefits administration, workers' compensation claims, and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Maintain HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UltiPro, ADP, Paychex, Dayforce, and Paylocity for accurate data entry and reporting.
- Assist with organization design projects and change management initiatives aligned with strategic planning goals.
- Handle employee relations issues with professionalism while managing conflict resolution and communication effectively.
- Ensure compliance with employment & labor law requirements including FMLA and affirmative action planning.
- Support HR projects related to workforce management using Kronos, Taleo, Ceridian, and other HR tools.
- Contribute to social media management for employer branding and internal communication channels.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in human resources management or related administrative roles with familiarity in HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, workers' compensation procedures, and HR sourcing strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through project management expertise.
- Proficiency in data collection & entry tools like Salesforce or iCIMS; experience with social media management is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining high levels of organization design and strategic planning skills.
- Prior experience with payroll systems such as ADP or Paychex is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
