| RESUME REQUIRED & OSHA CERTIFICATION
This role responsibilities focus on workplace health and safety program to ensure safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment by
performing the following duties personally or through subordinate personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
ļ· Verify associates consistently follow workplace health and safety protocols established by the Company enforcing rules
located within the Safety Manual. Monitoring of the production floor in addition to other areas of the site.
ļ· Performs daily pre-shift safety meetings, providing necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for associates prior to
start.
ļ· Participate in site morning Daily Directional Setting (DDS) when WHS Supervisor is not available.
ļ· Conduct required Behavior Observation System (BOS) safety audits, minimums by site defined by WHS Manager using
Company designated software.
ļ· Conduct safety training session(s) to work site personnel updating related training matrix.
ļ· Provide replacement PPE as needed to any associate already positioned on a line.
ļ· Answer any associate safety questions.
ļ· Promptly respond to any Safety incident at the work site.
o Provide first aid treatment of on-the-job illness or injury, if any.
o Record details of any incident, using Company designated software for capture of data.
ļ· Stock work site first aid and PPE as necessary.
Training Qualification
Training from the WHS Supervisor and/or WHS Manager qualifies this role for site responsibilities.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Carries out any supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Qualifications, Education and/or Experience
ļ· Experience One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ļ· Certificates, Licenses, Registrations OSHA 10 General Certification within 90 days, First-Aid, CPR training.
ļ· Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and
procedure manuals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or member of
business community. Ability to write reports/communication that confirm to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively
present information to top management and customer representatives. Communication language is that which is the primary
of the Company and its Customer(s). Bi-lingual a plus.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to
compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
To deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish
facts and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient knowledge and use of computer systems including Microsoft Office
Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint); Adobe PDF including electronic signing, and Intranet and Internet use, desktop scanners;
multifunction copy/scan/fax machines, touchscreen tables iPad.
