| RESUME REQUIRED & OSHA CERTIFICATION This role responsibilities focus on workplace health and safety program to ensure safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment byperforming the following duties personally or through subordinate personnel.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.? Verify associates consistently follow workplace health and safety protocols established by the Company enforcing ruleslocated within the Safety Manual. Monitoring of the production floor in addition to other areas of the site.? Performs daily pre-shift safety meetings, providing necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for associates prior tostart.? Participate in site morning Daily Directional Setting (DDS) when WHS Supervisor is not available.? Conduct required Behavior Observation System (BOS) safety audits, minimums by site defined by WHS Manager usingCompany designated software.? Conduct safety training session(s) to work site personnel updating related training matrix.? Provide replacement PPE as needed to any associate already positioned on a line.? Answer any associate safety questions.? Promptly respond to any Safety incident at the work site.o Provide first aid treatment of on-the-job illness or injury, if any.o Record details of any incident, using Company designated software for capture of data.? Stock work site first aid and PPE as necessary.Training QualificationTraining from the WHS Supervisor and/or WHS Manager qualifies this role for site responsibilities.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesCarries out any supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.Qualifications, Education and/or Experience? Experience One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.? Certificates, Licenses, Registrations OSHA 10 General Certification within 90 days, First-Aid, CPR training.? Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, andprocedure manuals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or member ofbusiness community. Ability to write reports/communication that confirm to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectivelypresent information to top management and customer representatives. Communication language is that which is the primaryof the Company and its Customer(s). Bi-lingual a plus.Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability tocompute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Reasoning AbilityTo deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establishfacts and draw valid conclusions.Computer SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient knowledge and use of computer systems including Microsoft OfficeSuite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint); Adobe PDF including electronic signing, and Intranet and Internet use, desktop scanners;multifunction copy/scan/fax machines, touchscreen tables iPad. | |||||
