 Monday – Friday – Full Time – Temp to hire.

 

1st Shift: $17.50

 

Shift: 7am – 3:30pm

 

 

Requirements of position

JobSquad is seeking experienced and motivated Grinder II operators to take a leadership role on the production floor. In this position, you will operate and troubleshoot all machines in the shop, ensure precise quality standards, and mentor other team members. If you have advanced machining skills, enjoy problem-solving, and want to grow your leadership abilities in manufacturing, this role is for you!

 

Requirements:

 High school diploma or GED preferred, or 1–3 months of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret work rules, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Proficient in basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Ability to meet expectations for data entry, production, safety, and quality standards.

Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions and apply common sense understanding.

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Reliable attendance and the ability to report to your workstation “work ready” and stay through the end of your shift.

 

 

Responsibilities of position

Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and troubleshoot all machines in the shop.

Interpret complex prints, instructions, and tolerances to perform advanced setups for specialized jobs.

Conduct advanced inspections and accurately document results, ensuring all parts meet precise customer specifications.

Train and mentor Loaders and Operator I employees, leading by example in safety, quality, and productivity.

Support supervisors in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Run jobs according to schedule with accuracy and efficiency, meeting throughput and on-time delivery goals.
