General Maintenance Worker

?$16.98 hourly  

Requirements of position 

1. Our client is seeking General Maintenance Worker Temp to Hire Monday to Friday   

Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, construction, HVAC equipment and general repairs. 

 General knowledge of various types of equipment used for repairs. 

Ability to work with little or no supervision, given proper instructions. 

Ability to follow instructions, either orally or in writing. 

Ability to do heavy lifting up to 50lbs. 

Responsibilities of position 

1. Performs a variety of tasks to ensure that the facility is properly maintained, serviced, and repaired including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing. 

2. May assist in the installation of new equipment. 

3. Works as a plumber in assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures of water systems. Unclogs drains. 

4. Acts as a carpenter on projects as required. 

5. Maintains tools and machinery in good condition and uses all tools carefully and as instructed. 

6. May perform minor repairs to HVAC system as required and sees to general maintenance of the system. 

7. Schedules and perform preventative maintenance.?
