Requirements of position



Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nutrition, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in product formulation, dietary supplements, or food science (internship experience is a plus).
  • Knowledge of FDA, GMP, and dietary supplement regulations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with active ingredients, excipients, and delivery formats used in nutraceutical formulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a lab setting and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with formulation software (e.g., Genesis R&D, NutraSoft).
  • Understanding of stability testing and ingredient interactions.
  • Basic knowledge of flavoring and sensory evaluation for powders and liquids.
 
Responsibilities of position




We are seeking a Junior Formulator to support the research, development, and formulation of nutraceuticals and dietary supplements. This role involves working with vitamins, minerals, botanicals, and other functional ingredients to create safe, effective, and compliant products. The ideal candidate will have a background in food science, chemistry, biology, or a related field and a passion for health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and formulation of dietary supplements, including capsules, tablets, powders, and liquids.
  • Conduct ingredient research to evaluate efficacy, stability, and safety in compliance with FDA and GMP regulations.
  • Support product testing, stability studies, and sensory evaluations to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with R&D, quality control, regulatory, and manufacturing teams to bring new products to market.
  • Maintain detailed formulation records, batch sheets, and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and scientific advancements in the nutraceutical space.
$25-$30 per hour
