Bilingual Forklift Operator
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Bilingual Forklift Operator (English/Spanish) to join our warehouse and production team. The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, unload, and organize products throughout the facility. This position requires working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining productivity, accuracy, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers
- Move raw materials and finished products throughout the warehouse or production facility
- Accurately stage, stack, and organize products for shipping and receiving
- Inspect products and materials for damage or shortages
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Follow all OSHA, GMP, and company safety procedures
- Assist with warehouse, production, and inventory tasks as needed
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues
- Work effectively with supervisors and team members in both English and Spanish
Requirements
- Must be bilingual (English and Spanish required)
- Previous forklift experience required
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Basic warehouse and inventory knowledge preferred
Work Environment
- Warehouse and/or manufacturing facility
- Fast-paced environment with repetitive lifting and movement
- Requires operating material handling equipment throughout the shift
