| JobSquad is now hiring Forklift Operators in Plymouth, MI. This role is essential to supporting the material handling needs of a fast-paced manufacturing operation.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Basic understanding of maintenance in a high-speed production environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
- Technical degree or equivalent military experience preferred
- Ability to follow safety protocols and GMP standards (hairnets, earplugs, safety glasses, PPE)
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
Physical Requirements
- Manufacturing environment with long periods of standing and bending
- Must be able to safely operate an industrial forklift truck
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively

Responsibilities of position
|

|
|
|
|
| Responsibilities
- Provide raw materials to the production lines
- Off-load raw materials
- Remove finished product from the line
- Safely load trailers with finished product
- Maintain and repair pallets as needed
- Rework damaged pallets
- Keep driver area clean and organized
- Perform daily safety checks on forklift equipment
- Service bottling line and assist with production support
- Accurately complete load sheets and documentation
- Report any food safety or quality concerns to appropriate personnel
- Follow all safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
