Requirements of position
|
|
|
|
|
- A valid driver’s license.
- 3 to 5 years maintenance experience preferably in plumbing, electrical, HVAC or Carpentry.
- Skills & Competencies
- Experience with facilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to make independent judgments with limited information
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Logical and strategic approach to solving problems
- Ability to read and understand basic floor plans
- Comfortable working in a high-stress environment balancing several projects at any given time, and the flexibility to adjust for abrupt changes in strategic directions
- Physical and/or Mental Requirements / Working Conditions
- Involves repetitively lifting and carrying items weighing up to 60 pounds; standing and walking during eight-hour shift; bending, stooping, climbing stairs and ladders, and operating lifts.

Responsibilities of position
|
|
|
|
|
|
- Perform routine maintenance and work on minor building, painting, and alteration projects.
- Perform electrical lighting maintenance, including tube, bulb, and ballast replacement.
- Patch, repair, and paint drywall. Install interior artwork.
- Repair furniture and woodwork.
- Adjust, maintain, and repair exterior and interior doors.
- Maintain and repair locks.
- Inspect and test fire protection and generator systems.
- Maintain plumbing fixtures and repair restroom facilities.
- Install and reconfigure modular workstations.
