Pay/hours for position 

 

 

 

 

 

Pay Rate: $21/hour (Potential for increase compensation upon permanent hire) 

Schedule: Monday to Friday; 7am to 3:30pm 

Requirements of position 

 

 

 

 
  • What We’re Looking For:
    • 2+ years of electrical or electro-mechanical assembly experience (rail or transportation experience is a plus, not required)
    • Experience working with low & high voltage (VDC), medium voltage (VAC), and relay logic
    • Comfortable using tools such as multimeters, gauges, current probes, calipers, micrometers, etc.
    • Ability to read and understand schematics, blueprints, and diagrams
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Must own a basic hand-tool set
    • Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and occasionally in confined spaces

We’re hiring Electrical Assemblers to join a growing manufacturing team that builds rail vehicles and train systems used across North America. This is a day-shift, long-term opportunity with room for growth and increased pay upon permanent hire.
If you enjoy hands-on electrical work, reading schematics, and working in a production environment — we’d love to talk to you.
What You’ll Do:
  • Assemble, install, and modify electrical and electro-mechanical systems on rail vehicles
  • Work with systems related to propulsion, braking, HVAC, lighting, door control, communications, and auxiliary power
  • Follow work instructions, schematics, drawings, and engineering documentation
  • Use diagnostic tools and precision measuring equipment to test and troubleshoot systems
  • Perform electrical modifications and repairs as directed by engineering or supervisors
  • Document work performed and follow all safety and quality procedures
  • Collaborate with mechanics, engineers, and production team members
