Pay and Hours for Job + Benefits: C shift (Sun.-Tues.; every other Wed. 6:00PM-6:00AM) = $24.00/hour & D shift (every other Wed.; Thurs-Sat. 6:00PM-6:00AM) = $24.00/hour
Job Description:
Comply with all company and department specific quality, safety, FSSC 22000 and GMP policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and implement all phases of chocolate compound coating and oil based center for production.
- Check production schedule to determine variety and quantity of goods to produce.
- Assure accuracy of products being manufactured according to weight and measure standards.
- Mix ingredients to formulate chocolates, coatings or centers accurately.
- Prepare product according to specified cooking temperatures.
- Operate and maintain equipment according to equipment standards, and company policy and procedures.
- Ensure and maintain a clean, sanitary work area by washing, scrubbing, scrapping and other means of maintaining an environment free of hazards and contaminants.
- Perform changeovers such as dismantling, cleaning according to SOPs and SSOPs.
- Unload tankers, collect samples and receive shipments into SAP.
- Track and check tank inventories daily.
- Oversee operators on their crew / ensure their jobs are being done correctly
- Ensure magnet / strainer checks are being completed
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
● High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required
● Three to six months related experience and/or specific On the Job Training (OJT) under supervision. ● Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PLC control panels, SAP and Maintenance Work.
Additional Requirements:
● Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety, SQF, and GMP rules. Must be able to access and print BOM and have knowledge of lot number control, scales, and devices such as visometers and calibrators. Must have general math skills in percentages, fractions, and decimals.
