Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday – Friday

Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Driver Helper to assist with local deliveries of packaged fish and seafood throughout the New York City area. This is a hands-on position that involves working alongside the driver to load, transport, and deliver seafood products to customers.
Responsibilities
Assist the driver with loading and unloading packaged fish and seafood products.
Help organize and secure products in the delivery vehicle to prevent damage during transport.
Assist with deliveries to restaurants, delis, supermarkets, foodservice customers, and other businesses.
Carry and move boxes and containers of seafood throughout the workday.
Verify deliveries and assist with bringing products into customer locations.
Help maintain an organized and clean delivery vehicle.
Follow proper food-handling and safety procedures when working around seafood products.
Work efficiently with the driver to complete daily delivery routes on time.
Perform additional warehouse and loading duties as needed.
Qualifications
Previous warehouse, delivery, driver helper, or physical labor experience preferred.
Must be comfortable lifting and carrying boxes throughout the day.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a two-person delivery team.
Comfortable working around fish and seafood products.
Good communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to follow directions and safely handle products.
Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods.
