| Requirements and Responsibilities of position
|
|
| ● Vendor Routing Support: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries regarding routing instructions. Ensure timely email responses to prevent shipping delays.
● Truckload (TL) Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule vendor truckload shipments directly to the Distribution Centers (DCs) to optimize dock flow.
● Conduit Daily Scheduling- Daily scheduling oversight and solving any issues that may arise.
● Vendor Setup & Routing Approvals: Manage the onboarding process for new vendors by establishing and approving their specific routing protocols.
- Internal Logistics & Store Operations
● Store Transfer Management: Monitor, track, and schedule the movement of inventory between retail locations to ensure stock balance across the network.
● Bunzl Supplies Coordination: Oversee the logistics and order tracking for ETA requests for Bunzl-sourced supplies to ensure stores and DCs remain stocked with essential operating materials.
● Blackhawk Run Maintenance: Manage and maintain accurate release numbers for all Blackhawk transportation runs to ensure seamless pick-ups and deliveries.
- Compliance & Safety
● Hazmat Training & Tracking: Coordinate Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) training sessions for all relevant store and DC personnel. Maintain up-to-date tracking logs to ensure 100% regulatory compliance.
- GPS Technology & Tracking
● Overhaul GPS Coordination: Utilize GPS tracking systems to monitor consolidation loads. Provide real-time communication and status updates to DCs to prepare for incoming freight.
- Performance & Analytics (TL & JL)
● KPI & Metrics Reporting: Establish a monthly reporting cadence to track:
● Carrier Performance: On-time delivery and pick-up percentages.
● Trailer Utilization: Tracking capacity on store trailers and evaluating cost and efficiency.
● Financials: Freight spend and cost per unit. (savings)
● Efficiency: Routing compliance and transit times.
