 Part-Time Delivery Driver

Pay/hours for position

 

 $25/ hr/ 4:00 PM- 8:00 PM, 30-40 hours per week

Requirements of position

 

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record. 

• DOT Medical Certification.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs.

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities of position

 

Driving & Delivery Responsibilities: 

• Safe & Timely Deliveries: Operate a Class B commercial vehicle to deliver products to customers, ensuring accurate and on-time deliveries. 

• Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous service to customers, ensuring deliveries meet their expectations. Address any concerns or discrepancies promptly. 

• Equipment & Safety Compliance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, complete preoperational forklift inspections, and report any mechanical issues to ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations. 

• Documentation & Inventory Control: Verify orders against invoices, collect necessary signatures, and maintain accurate records of deliveries, returns, and payments when applicable. 

 

Warehouse Responsibilities: 

• Order Fulfillment & Inventory Control: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery while maintaining accurate inventory records. 

• Shipping & Receiving: Assist with loading and unloading trucks, inspecting shipments, and verifying counts against invoices. 

• Warehouse Organization: Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with food safety regulations in storage and staging areas. 

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to transport and organize products.
