Requirements of position
2 years of experience in cycle counting, inventory management, or warehouse operations, with a proven ability to use basic computer software to support inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: · Cycle Counting: Perform regular cycle counts of inventory items to ensure accuracy and consistency. Reconcile discrepancies and report findings to management. · Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking stock levels, managing receipts and shipments, and updating databases as needed. · Warehouse Operations: Support warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and distributing aviation parts and materials. Ensure proper labeling and organization of inventory. · Data Entry & Reporting: Use basic computer software to input data, generate reports, and analyze inventory trends. Assist in the creation of reports for management review. · Identify and recommend improvements to inventory control processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. · Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations related to inventory management and warehouse operations. · Work closely with other departments such as procurement, maintenance, and logistics to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any inventory-related issues. Qualifications: · Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in cycle counting, inventory management, or warehouse operations, preferably within the aviation industry. · Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and familiarity with inventory management systems or software. · Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in data entry and inventory counts. · Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with team members and report findings clearly. · Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. · Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, analyze data, and propose solutions to resolve inventory discrepancies and operational challenges. Education:
· High school diploma or equivalent required · Associate's degree in Business · Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
