$22-28 hourly

Requirements of position
|
|
|
|
|
- High school diploma or equivalent (Technical training preferred)
- 2+ years experience as a Compounder in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or cosmetic manufacturing
- Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment
- Hands-on experience following Master Batch Records
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical documentation and compliance
- Basic math skills for accurate measurement and yield calculations
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions in English

Responsibilities of position
|
|
|
|
|
|
- Pharmaceutical Compounding & Batch Preparation
- Weigh and measure raw materials using calibrated scales
- Follow approved Master Batch Records and SOPs
- Compound and mix ingredients to produce pharmaceutical batches
- Verify lot numbers, expiration dates, and material identity before use
- Stage and verify materials prior to production
- Operate and monitor mixers, blenders, tanks, kettles, homogenizers, and compounding equipment
- Perform equipment setup prior to batch production
- Monitor mixing speeds, times, temperatures, and process parameters
- Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate issues to maintenance when needed
- Complete batch production records accurately and in real time
- Document yields, deviations, and adjustments
- Maintain strict adherence to GMP, FDA, and safety regulations
- Ensure full traceability of materials used in each batch
- Perform in-process quality checks
- Identify discrepancies and notify Quality Assurance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in compliance with GMP standards
- Monitor raw material inventory levels
- Follow FIFO procedures
- Handle materials in accordance with MSDS and safety guidelines
- Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance teams
- Support internal and external audits
- Assist with training new Compounders when required
