| The Jobsquad is looking for an experienced Controls Engineer to join our client’s team. If you have strong PLC, CNC, and robotics skills and enjoy problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this could be the perfect fit.
Requirements
- 5–10 years in machining or industrial manufacturing
- Strong PLC programming experience
- CNC machine control knowledge (Fanuc, Haas, Mori Seiki, Murata)
- Robotics programming/troubleshooting experience
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- CNC retrofit and automation integration experience
- Familiarity with electrical safety protocols

| Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair CNC control systems
- Write and optimize PLC ladder logic (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi)
- Program and support robotics (Fanuc, Kawasaki, Yaskawa)
- Configure and troubleshoot HMIs, VFDs, and networks (Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, Profibus)
- Support automation integration and new equipment installations
- Partner with maintenance and engineering teams to drive improvements
