| Requirements of position
|
|
| Experience setting up and running CNC and/or manual mills / lathes
Experience with precision measurement devices
Experience with blueprint reading and other technical drawings
Detail oriented
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

| Responsibilities of position
|
|
| Perform necessary machining operations as outlined in job routing
Use overhead crane to move parts in and out of machines
Setup material, machine, and tools to perform necessary machining operations
Set feed rate, speed, and depth of cut based on material, tool, and operation type to maximize equipment efficiency
Use precision gauging to make offset adjustments to machines to ensure compliance to specifications detailed in job routing and blue print
Check & certify gauges
Extended periods of time standing and walking on concrete floors
