Requirements of position

|
| Licensing & Certifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B (depending on vehicle type).
- Hazmat endorsement (H or X endorsement).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT physical).
- Forklift certification (OSHA-compliant).
Experience
- 1–3+ years of CDL driving experience preferred.
- Experience transporting hazardous materials preferred.
- Warehouse and forklift experience required.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong knowledge of DOT and hazmat regulations.
- Ability to safely lift 50–75 lbs.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Clean driving record.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Frequent loading/unloading.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities of position
|
|
|
|
|
|
| ransportation & Delivery
- Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials safely and efficiently.
- Perform local and/or regional deliveries as scheduled.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
Hazardous Materials Handling
- Safely load, transport, and unload hazardous materials in compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Maintain proper hazmat documentation and shipping papers.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, especially for hazmat loads.
- Follow emergency procedures in case of spills or accidents.
Forklift Operations
- Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks.
- Move materials within warehouse or yard safely.
- Perform daily forklift inspections.
- Maintain safe stacking and storage practices.
Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance
- Perform routine inspections of truck, trailer, and safety equipment.
- Report mechanical issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and safe operating condition of equipment.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow company safety policies and OSHA standards.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD compliance).
- Comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
- Participate in required safety training.
