Schedule:
- Training: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (some weekends required)
- Post-training: Set shift will be determined after training. Possible shifts include:
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM

|
| Minimum Requirements:
- High School education or GED preferred.
- Able to read and write legibly
- Able to follow orders; basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide);
- Experience in operation of warehouse equipment to include reach trucks, pallet jacks, sweeper, floor scrubber, bailer, hydraulic trash compactor
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
- Physical requirement, all work is performed indoors and outdoors.
- Jobs frequently require sitting, handling objects with hands, standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting over 100 pounds.
- Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.
- Perform in environments with temperatures ranging from -22 degrees Fahrenheit to 100 degrees Fahrenheit
- Use repetitive motions, using upper and lower extremities, mount and dismount equipment
- Routine deadlines; usually sufficient lead time; variance in work volume seasonal and predictable; priorities can be anticipated; frequent interruptions are present; involves occasional exposure to demands and pressures from persons other than immediate supervisor.
- Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.

Responsibilities of position
|
|
|
|
|
|
| The job will include, but not be limited to:
- Clean and care for buildings and facilities to ensure they are maintained in a safe and healthy manner
- Clean offices and facilities
- Responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of buildings and related property.
- Sweeps and cleans entire warehouse to maintain required level of cleanliness.
- Empties trash bins and cleans trash area daily; operates trash compactor when applicable.
- Pulls pallets and cleans/scrubs product bays on a rotating basis.
- Cleans up any spills or breakages to inventoried product; recoups damage and determines if resalable or must be disposed of per government and Sun Commodities safety requirements.
- Performs light maintenance duties as assigned (i.e. replacement of light bulbs, collecting recyclable materials, paper and shrink wrap collection pickup, checking freezer and cooler for leaks or ice buildup, etc.)
- Prepares various reports and forms to document cleaning schedule, spillage, product damage, etc. May track and order maintenance supplies.
- May clean other areas of the warehouse and offices, to include break rooms, rest rooms, offices, etc.
- Maintain facility grounds and dumpster areas.
- Operates scrubber, pallet jack and high lift if required to perform duties.
