- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking dependable Slicing Room Attendants to join our food production team. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and are committed to quality, safety, and teamwork.
Please note: This position is performed in a refrigerated work environment. Candidates must be comfortable working around raw fish and using knives to trim and cut fish products as part of the daily job duties.
Responsibilities
- Slice, trim, and package fish products using knives and other production tools.
- Follow production specifications to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
- Follow all food safety, quality, and company procedures.
- Inspect products to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Keep the production line supplied and operating efficiently.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
- Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous food production or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be comfortable working in a cold, refrigerated environment.
- Must be comfortable handling and working around raw fish throughout the shift.
- Ability to safely use knives or willingness to learn proper knife handling techniques.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Reliable attendance with a strong work ethic.
- Must be bilingual in either English/Spanish or English/Haitian Creole.
