Job Title: Bagging Operator / Production Associate
Job Summary: The Bagging Operator is responsible for producing, filling, sealing, and preparing a variety of bagged products—including ice bags, plant bags, garbage bags, and specialty packaging—based on daily production orders. This role supports efficient operations while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate bagging and packaging machinery for multiple product types
Fill, seal, and label bags according to order specifications
Monitor bag weight, seal integrity, and overall product quality
Adjust processes as needed based on changing production orders
Stack, bundle, or palletize finished bags for storage or shipment
Perform visual inspections to ensure products meet quality standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and PPE requirements
Report equipment issues, product defects, or safety concerns to supervisors
Assist with changeovers between different bag types and product runs
Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred (but not required)
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Attention to detail and ability to follow varying production instructions
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, order-driven environment
Willingness to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed
Work Environment:
Manufacturing plant setting
Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and industrial materials
PPE required at all times
