We are looking for a detail-oriented Aviation Inspector to join our quality team. This role is responsible for inspecting aircraft parts and materials, checking paperwork for accuracy, and helping ensure all shipments meet company and aviation quality standards. The position also supports warehouse and shipping operations in a fast-paced aviation environment.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming and outgoing aircraft parts and materials.
- Review paperwork for accuracy and report missing or incorrect information.
- Verify quantities, labels, and documentation.
- Enter and confirm data in company systems.
- Follow proper handling procedures for sensitive materials.
- Support warehouse duties such as sorting, labeling, packing, shipping, cycle counting, and inventory checks.
- Package and ship materials according to company and customer standards.
- Prepare shipping documents and schedule pickups with carriers.
- Ensure shipments include all required paperwork and photos.
- Communicate with management and shipping teams regarding issues or concerns.
- Assist with additional tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of aviation inspection or related experience preferred.
- Knowledge of quality standards and shipping procedures is helpful.
- Experience with FedEx, UPS, DHL, or similar carrier systems preferred.
- HazMat training is a plus.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and inventory systems.
