The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for an Assistant Warehouse Supervisor to work at a company located in the Medley area!
Assistant Warehouse Supervisor along with Supervisor, essentially to improve work efficiency and precision through establishing or modifying workflows since we are growing very rapidly.
Requirement and Responsibilities:
• Analyze procedures of operations, detect inconsistencies, solving issues and finding improvements.
• Determine what causes are, collect data or facts, perform a report to the supervisor, suggest ideas, to establish countermeasures and procedures.
• Involve other warehouse workers and other departments like Customer Service Dept (CSD) and import coordinating the best proceeding and establishing countermeasures.
• Analyze timing and process of every operation to stablish the distribution of personnel to accomplish effectiveness.
• Inventory analysis
• Monthly reports
• 50% office work & 50% warehouse floor work.
Skills and competencies:
• Bilingual English / Spanish
• Experience as group leader, assistant manager, or supervisor itself in warehouse / distribution.
• Microsoft offices: proficient in Excel, with advanced knowledge of (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), Word, and Power Point presentations.
• Warehouse management techniques like 5S, Kanban board, etc.
• Experience with PDCA, 5W-1H & QCD
• Data extraction and analyzing worksheet data to establish or to modify workflows improving efficiency and effectiveness reducing costs.
• Statistics following year to year efficiency improvements on excel data reports.
• Experience suggesting solutions / ideas creating countermeasures to improve duties having results as fact.
This position will report to the Warehouse Manager.
Job Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $22.50 - $24DOE
