Requirements of position 

?Our client in Pompano area is seeking an A/P Clerk Temp to hire/ Monday to Friday.  

• Experience with materials, research and development 

• Experience with data analysis and statistical methods 

• Familiarity with industry-specific software and databases 

• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record and analyze data 

• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time to meet deadlines 

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field 

• 2+ years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a materials engineering or chemistry laboratory 

• Knowledge of mechanical and chemical testing methods and equipment 

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

Responsibilities of position 

• ?Assist with materials testing, including mechanical and chemical testing, to ensure materials meet industry standards 

• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, including performing routine calibrations and troubleshooting equipment issues 

• Conduct research and development projects, including materials selection and process optimization 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and production staff, to improve materials and processes 

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of materials testing and research results 

• Stay current with industry developments and technologies related to materials engineering.
