Pay/hours for position 

Starting Pay:     $31.50 - $38.00 per hour depending on experience 

 Hours:   

  2nd shift – 12:30pm -9:00pm 

Requirements of position 

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:  

1. Experience with troubleshooting mechanical and refrigeration system issues. 
2. Has completed or is working on a 2-year trades degree and/or 4 years of plant maintenance experience.
3. High school diploma or equivalent.
4. Must be 18 years of age.
5. Able to read, write and speak English. Bilingual capabilities are a plus.

Responsibilities of position 

1. Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial ammonia refrigeration systems supporting high-volume food production
2. Perform maintenance on high-pressure boilers, air compressors, and air handlers
3. Service HVAC and refrigeration equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations
4. Troubleshoot mechanical and refrigeration issues to minimize downtime
5. Follow and enforce IIAR, OSHA, and plant safety procedures
6. Be able to perform work duties while not supervised and report them to their supervisor
7. Have a backround in low voltage, 480 volt electric, 
8. Be able to recognize the refrigeration system is out of parameters and take corrective action to fix the issue.
