| Ensures that all Accounts Payable functions are carried-out in a consistent and efficient manner. Manages the Accounts Payable process flow that is required to support Accounting. Responsible for housekeeping, hygiene, sanitation, pest control, and safety practice. Assures all activities are followed based on procedures, instructions, etc., as well as ISO 9001 requirements, and FDA, ATF, GMP, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
Accounts Payable Position
- Communicates well and, in a timely fashion, as needed with his/her subordinates, and immediate supervisor. (1)
- Processes a high volume of purchase invoices. Whether Accounts Payable PO or original Accounts Payable invoice. (1)
- Works with assigned personnel when AP duties are fulfilled. (1)
- Coordinates all AP functions with help of Supervisor. (2)
- Assures all duties done in a timely manner (1)
- Works with All departments. (1)
- Informs Supervisor when invoices are not correct.(1)
- Understands the 3 way match concept of purchase order to payment in the ERP system. (1)
- Provides reconciliation of AP Aging process both weekly and monthly. (1)
- Uses proper standards when applicable. (1)
- Supports period end financial closing activities for Accounts payable and other departments. (1)
- Able to handle stressful situations and remain focused on the objective. (1)
- Inspects all invoices and Purchase Order's. (1)
- Solid data entry skills and working knowledge in MS applications word and excel., SAP (1)
- Basic understanding of standard accounting concepts ,practices and procedures. (1)
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in changing situations. (1)
