| Jobsquad Staffing is partnering with a premier employer in Fort Wayne. We have seasonal picking and packing positions at a Distribution Center on the Northwest part of town. We are hiring immediately and urgently on all shifts. This position is seasonal but offers weekly pay, a simple hiring process, and an opportunity to work at one of Fort Wayne's top employers!
Requirements-
- Willing and open to cross-training
- PPE will be provided
- Steel-toe shoes are NOT required
- Must have a valid form of ID
- Applicants must be willing to submit for a criminal background check
- Must have reliable transportation
- Applicants are expected to have a positive attitude if hired
- Good attendance and dependability is crucial
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- HS Diploma and/or GED is preferred but not required
- Warehouse, distribution, or production experience is highly preferred
- Prior order picking/packing experience is preferred
- Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply
- Works well in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities of position
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Responsibilities-
- Support the shipment of products by picking and packing incoming orders
- Affixing labels onto the shipments
- Use a scanner to identify, locate, and place products into the correct areas
- Responsible for keeping track of inventory, using a computer, entering information, and generating labels
- Receive products from trucks and load them into the correct area
- Lifting up to 50lbs as needed, anything over 50lbs is an assisted team lift
- Frequently walking, twisting, and bending for 8 hours a day
