Machine Operator – 3rd Shift
📍 Location: Northlake, IL
 💲 Compensation: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Machine Operator to join our 3rd shift production team in our Northlake IL facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating and maintaining manufacturing or packaging machinery, with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and performance excellence.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, monitor, and adjust manufacturing and packaging equipment to ensure efficient production flow.
  • Maintain adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), quality standards, and food safety regulations.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections, minor repairs, and adjustments as necessary.
  • Accurately document production data, downtime, and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area always.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily and weekly production goals.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
 
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Machine Operator in a food manufacturing or packaging environment preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
  • Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and food safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Must be available for 3rd Shift (Overnight) and occasional overtime as required.
  • Capable of lifting to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods.
