- 3-5 years of food manufacturing maintenance or production supervision required.
- Proficient in Lean Manufacturing principles such as Six Sigma, TPM, 5-S and other disciplines, preferred.
- Fluent with Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Problem-Solving methods (DMAIC, 5-Why, A3,), preferred.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance CMMS systems, preferred.

Summary: The Maintenance Supervisor will direct all functions of the maintenance work force for their assigned shift, ensuring efficient manufacturing process capabilities, adherence to safety and quality standards, and effective team leadership. This role will focus on optimizing equipment reliability, troubleshooting issues, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, to maximize production output while improving safety, food safety, quality, and costs.
Experience:
- B.S. Degree in Asset Reliability or Engineering related field strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years of food manufacturing maintenance or production supervision required.

Essential Functions/Duties:
- Provide daily supervisory leadership to the hourly maintenance workforce and oversee any necessary onsite maintenance contractor coordination.
- Provide individual team member job assignments and track the progress to completion.
- Provides supervisory assistance to the maintenance team in diagnosing and correcting malfunctions in machinery and equipment
- Provide input into the development of preventative maintenance procedures that are cost effective and increase the operational life of the equipment.
- Assists with developing maintenance department employee relations by continued communication of all information affecting them and through the conduct of regular shift team meetings.
- Assists with the maturing of the plant CMMS system.
- Assists with and leads the implementation of reliability process improvement through TPM, Lean, Autonomous Maintenance, Root Cause Analysis, and other reliability tools, including leading change initiatives, planning, and facilitation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
