Requirements of position



Requirements:
  • Previous experience as an Inventory Manager or similar role within a produce company.
  • Strong knowledge of handling, storing, and rotating perishable products (fruits and vegetables).
  • Ability to work in refrigerated environments and in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency with inventory systems or software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
Availability for flexible schedules based on operation needs
 
Responsibilities of position




We are seeking an Inventory Manager with previous experience in the produce industry to oversee and maintain inventory levels of fresh fruits and vegetables. This role is responsible for ensuring that all products are properly received, stored, rotated, and recorded to maintain quality and minimize shrink.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor daily inventory levels and adjust according to operational needs.
  • Coordinate the receiving process, ensuring correct product quality, counts, and classification.
  • Implement and maintain proper rotation practices (FIFO) to ensure product freshness.
  • Review inventory reports and identify discrepancies or losses.
  • Work closely with the Purchasing, Production, and Sales teams to ensure product availability.
  • Control shrink and generate weekly inventory reports.
  • Maintain an organized and clean storage area in compliance with food safety and safety regulations.
  • Train and supervise inventory staff as needed.
