| Preferred/Required:
- High School/GED or 2-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program
- 5 or more years experience in repair and prevention upkeep of plant machinery including electro-mechanical systems
- Must pass a written and hands-on test of proven experience/certifications
SKILLS
- 5 years and ability to demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of Industrial Maintenance-ie, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields
- Thorough Knoweledge of mechanical components and equipment including use of specialty tools for troubleshooting, diagnostic and repairs
Physical Demands
- Bending, stooping, standing, walking on hard surfaces
- Ability to lift 30-50 pounds or more
- Ability to work all shifts including 12-hour shifts
- Ability to work overtime as necessary
- Ability to work in hot and cold environments

Responsibilities of position
|
|
|
|
|
|
- Quality, quantity, waste amounts, safety of personnel and equipment, required maintenance reports, PM work orders and other documents or reports as required accurately and timely.
- Helps direct the work and training needs of the crew in a safe manner
- Responsibility for maintenance, repair and trouble shooting of machines, equipment, facility and grounds.
- Responsible to assure oncoming shift has been communicated to add advised of all pertinent information regarding the machine, status of equipment and personnel and all support functions.
- Responsibility for new installations, project work and developmental projects and able to perform any electro-mechanical duties required
- Must perform any other duties, jobs, assignments, educational updating or other tasks as directed by manager.
- Assist in assuring HACCP, GMP’s, Work Instructions and Food Safety Quality System Requirements (SQF) are in compliance.
- Work Effectively with crew, promoting a team environment
- Maintain quotas or production standards
