| Responsibilities of position

|||||
| As an Outbound Aviation Quality Inspector, you will verify that all aircraft parts orders meet required FAA, EASA, customer, and contract specifications prior to shipment. You'll ensure traceability, proper airworthiness documents, and correct packaging, labeling, and preservation so aircraft operators and MRO facilities receive parts they can place into service with confidence.
This role is essential to ensuring safe and compliant flight operations worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
• Inspect and verify outbound aircraft components for correct condition, quantity, conformance, and form/fit/function
• Confirm FAA/EASA traceability, including 8130-3 forms, Certificates of Conformance, Airworthiness documentation, and maintenance records • Validate ATA chapter accuracy and part identification against Sales Orders and Customer Requirements • Complete quality inspections per ISO / AS aerospace standards • Identify and report all discrepancies, defects, and documentation errors before shipment • Ensure parts are properly preserved, labeled, sealed, and packaged for domestic and international shipment • Maintain accurate records in the aviation ERP / database • Comply with ESD handling, Hazmat packaging, and export control requirements • Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Sales, and Warehouse teams to resolve shipment issues • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment as needed • Support continuous improvement in warehouse and aviation quality processes • Perform additional duties as required in a fast-paced aerospace environment What Makes You Successful

• Knowledge of FAA traceability, regulated documentation, and aircraft parts terminology
• Computer and aviation inventory system proficiency • Strong communication skills — written and verbal • Capable of light to moderate lifting and physical warehouse work Experience & Education Needed
• High School Diploma or GED — Required
• 2+ years Aviation Parts or MRO experience — Required • Prior aerospace quality, outbound inspection, or logistics experience — Preferred • Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, Hazmat, and ESD req |
