We’re looking for a Maintenance Planner for our Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company! Pay Rate: $26/HRLocation: Davie, FL1st ShiftMaintenance Planner Essential Functions And Responsibilities: - Oral and written communication techniques sufficient to accomplish assignments such as: Technical writing, planning and carrying out simple assignments.
- Help create schematics and drawings.
- Using the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Prepare BOM’s, Job plans, spare parts identification etc. Other engineering related tasks may apply.
- Create/edit engineering documentation required to support construction and installation of existing equipment or future installations.
- Use the CMMS to develop a daily work schedule to secure adequate resources to complete preventative, predictive, and planned maintenance.
- Audit assignments and resources to ensure repair schedules and performance expectations are met. This includes maintenance and materials.
- Documents, work orders, change orders, and necessary approvals to perform work as planned.
- Responsible to maintain all plant equipment records in the CMMS and that all maintenance work including planned and unplanned work is scheduled through the CMMS.
- Ensure all labor hours, materials, and necessary notes or procedural changes associated with the work are accurately recorded, and work is closed in a timely manner.
- Communicates directly with managers regarding parts required and inventory levels needed to complete all scheduled Work Orders and PM Orders.
- Manage and schedule maintenance activities such as inspections, instrument calibrations, and equipment preventive maintenance and validation assessments along with coordinating project workload
- Other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor
Qualifications: - Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Mechanical/Electric background is necessary. Apprenticeship program or technical school background is desirable
- Must be skillful in approaching internal clients to resolve issues and /or gain compliance with established policies
- Must be bilingual English/Spanish
- Possess desire to learn and be part od a dynamic team solving problems safely
- Must have adequate craft knowledge and skill to accurately estimate labor hours, material requirements and skills needed to complete a job
- Must have a demonstrated stability to visualize and communicate the execution of work
- Knowledgeable of maintenance processes and proper use of the work order system, planning and scheduling and storeroom processes
- Manages multiple priorities or projects simultaneously and keep them progressing to completion
