Sanitation Supervisor 2nd shift

Pay/hours for position




77K—90K  DOE plus benefits
Requirements of position



Full Time- Permanent direct hire – Brooklyn NY Waterfront area, Fish processing center: 2nd shift starting at 1:00pm.
Sanitation Supervisor with 3 (+) years experience in a food production environment-( not a restaurant ):   Must also have Strong English communication skills.
 
Duties/Responsibilities:
Sanitation Leadership & Coordination
  1. Plan, assign, and oversee daily and weekly sanitation activities to ensure all production and facility areas meet established sanitary standards.
  2. Maintain the master sanitation schedule and verify completion for regulatory and internal compliance.
  3. Coordinate and lead plant-wide deep cleaning, seasonal shutdowns, and special sanitation projects.
  4. Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of cleaning chemicals in alignment with SDS and regulatory requirements.
  5. Collaborate regularly with Manufacturing and FSQA to minimize downtime and maximize cleaning efficiency.
  6. Perform hands-on cleaning when necessary to support team workload or urgent sanitation needs.
  7. Work collaboratively with the Pest Control service provider to support scheduling and access for inspections, treatments, and equipment placement.
 
MUST have & wear Steel Toed safety shoes/boots.
 
Candidates Must be available for any occasional required overtime:  
 
Must be able to work to arrive on time for all shifts.
Must be able to pass Drug Screening test and background check.
Must be either a High School Diploma Grad (OR) have a GED Certificate.
