Responsibilities of position

We are seeking a reliable and skilled CDL A and/or B Driver with tanker endorsement to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating straight trucks, dump trucks, and vacuum trucks. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and equipment to designated locations, while adhering to all safety standards, traffic laws, and company protocols.  This is a full-time direct hire position with a starting pay of $25/hr.  

 

This is an overnight position with hours of 7p-7a, no weekends and home daily.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

This position is operating a vac truck with automatic transmission, cleaning catch basins on State of Michigan highways.

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.

Maintain a clean driving record and operate the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.

Ensure all materials and equipment are properly secured and transported according to safety regulations.

Complete all required paperwork, including delivery logs, fuel receipts, and vehicle inspection reports.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding schedules, delays, and deliveries.

Assist in loading and unloading materials when necessary.

Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Valid CDL A or CDL B license (required).

Tanker Endorsement (Required)

Proven experience operating straight trucks, dump trucks, and vacuum trucks preferred.

Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and vehicle maintenance.

Ability to lift and carry heavy loads as needed.

Previous experience with hazardous materials (if applicable) is a plus.

Ability to work in all weather conditions and drive for long hours.
